Power star Puneeth Rajkumar, the died on Friday at the age of 46. contributed to the nation’s fight against Covid-19 in 2020 and 2021 by raising awareness and donating money.
The Sandalwood actor who is also a Philanthropist, Singer, TV presenter and producer used his star status to send messages about the pandemic and advise his fans to follow the Covid protocol. He also donated Rs 50 lakh to the Karnataka CM Relief Fund last year to help the state fight Covid-19.

Rs 50 LAKH AN CM RELIEF FUND
Puneeth Rajkumar made a contribution of Rs 50 lakh to the Karnataka CM Relief Fund last year to support the state in the fight against Covid-19.

Working with the Bengaluru City Police, Puneeth Rajkumar released an important video message at the height of the second Covid-19 wave in 2021. He said, “Follow appropriate behavior, don’t be afraid, and be confident.”
He added: “We have to fight this together. For that we all have to get vaccinated first.”
Puneeth Rajkumar also advised fans to wear masks and not associate fear or shame with a positive test for the virus.

SUPPORT FOR THE KANNADA FILM INDUSTRY
Speak to the India Today E-Conclave Corona Series in 2020, Puneeth Rajkumar said the Kannada film industry has come together to meet the basic needs of those who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
He said, “Our industry is a huge industry and we do almost 140 projects a year. There have been a lot of projects. Some people are dependent on daily wages and there are different unions at different levels. Many of them are unemployed.” at the moment and we as an industry have come together to help people. We try to at least provide for their basic needs. I know it will take a few months to get everything on the right track. We understand that now, you have to stay home and take care of the rest later. “
Regarding the impact of the lockdown on his own life, he had said: “There is nothing for us to work from home. The situation is such that we all have to be careful and our safety comes first. It was difficult.”
Speaking of his contributions to the fight against the pandemic, he said at the conclave: “We are also trying to feed the people and give them rations. They have to go back to work because that is how they can survive. So I hope the work gets sorted. ”Soon. I pray things will go back to normal soon.
