A witness in the Mumbai drug downturn alleged that Rs 25 crore was requested on behalf of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zone Director, Sameer Wankhede, to release Aryan Khan, who was arrested in the case.
In a notarized affidavit, Prabhakar Sail, the bodyguard of NCB witness KP Gosavi, alleged that Gosavi had made the alleged claim on behalf of Sameer Wankhede, the NCB officer behind the drug bosom in Mumbai.
KP Gosavi, whose selfie with Aryan Khan went viral, is also one of the witnesses in the case and is currently on the run.

In an exclusive conversation with India Today TV, Prabhakar Sail claimed to have witnessed dramatic developments in currency exchange after the arrest of Aryan Khan. In a notorious affidavit, he said he accompanied Gosavi on the night of the raid.
Prabhakar Sail went on to claim that he saw a person named Sam and Gosavi meet near the NCB office who drove to Lower Parel, where they were joined by another blue car. He also saw Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani sitting in it.
Gosavi and Sam asked for Rs 25 crore in their conversation but agreed to agree on Rs 18 crore, claimed Prabhakar Sail, adding that Gosavi in that alleged conversation claimed that 8 crores out of the 18 crore to Sameer Wankhede would go and the rest would be distributed among other things.
Prabhakar Sail went on to claim that he was sent to Tardeo the next morning, where he picked up Rs 50 lakhs from a white car.
But Gosavi sent him again to return the amount to the Trident Hotel to Sam, who protested that the amount was reduced by Rs 12 lakhs as it was only 38 lakhs, Prabhakar Sail said. He spoke to Gosavi who said he would return it in the next 2-3 days.
Earlier in the day, Prabhakar Sail claimed that he made to sign a blank panchnama in the case of the NCB. He also said he felt a threat to his life from Sameer Wankhede after KP Gosavi was “suspiciously missing”.
Prabhakar also shot some videos and pictures during the raid. In one of the videos, Gosavi can be seen holding a phone on speakerphone mode and getting Aryan to speak to someone.
