Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Piazza Gandhi in Rome on Friday to honor Mahatma Gandhi. There he also interacted with a group of Indians who greeted him in Gujarati and recited Sanskrit chants.
One person shouted, “Narendra bhai, kem chho? [How are you]”To which the Prime Minister replied:” Maha ma chho [I am fine]” with a smile.
Another person spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarati about his work in yoga and Ayurveda.
The crowd gathered there also chanted slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Modi, Modi”. While a group was reciting Sanskrit shlokas, PM Modi answered “Om Namah Shivay” with folded hands.

PM MODI IN ITALY
Prime Minister Modi is in Rome for the two-day G-20 summit, which is about sustainable development and climate change, among other things. The theme of the meeting is “People, Planet and Prosperity”.
Before the summit PM Modi held a joint meeting with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. He will meet Pope Francis on Saturday morning in the Vatican.
