The final rites of Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar will be held next to his father’s monument in a private ceremony on Sunday morning at Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru.

The final rites of Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, who is affectionately known as Appu by his fans, will be held in a private ceremony on Sunday morning at the Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru.
He will be cremated with all state honors and the cremation will take place next to his father’s memorial.
Rajkumar’s remains will be brought in a public procession from the Kanteerava Stadium to the Kanteerava Studios between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and the final rites will be completed by 11:00 a.m.

Vinay Rajkumar, the older son of legendary actor Raghavendra Rajkumar and brother of Puneeth Rajkumar, will perform the final rites in the presence of friends and family while the studio premises are closed to the public.
Puneeth Rajkumar suffered a serious heart attack on October 29th and was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. He was taken to the hospital in an unresponsive condition. Although the doctors in the hospital did their best, Puneeth Rajkumar could not be resuscitated. He was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m.
From the main streets of the capital Bengaluru to the markets overlooking the legendary Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru, countless admirers of the Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar have hung large posters with garlands of him in many places to mourn his sudden death.
Many of these posters showed Puneeth in a smiling pose, and some also featured pictures of his late father, popular matinee idol Rajkumar.
