AAP leader Sanjay Singh met with SP leader Akhilesh Yadav and said talks about an alliance had been fruitful.

The Aam Aadmi party is seeking an alliance with the Samajwadi party, said AAP leader Sanjay Singh after his meeting with SP leader Akhilesh Yadav. “We’re talking to each other and we’re heading for an alliance,” he said.
Singh and Yadav had an hour-long meeting on Wednesday November 24th at the Lohia Trust office in Lucknow. Sanjay Singh had also met Akhilesh Yadav about two months ago.
According to sources, Sanjay Singh had a positive discussion and the agenda for the elections was discussed.
Regarding a possible alliance with AIMIM, Yadav said there would be no talks with the party leader Asaduddin Owaisi.
SP leader Sunil Singh Sajan said the SP was constantly supporting smaller parties to defeat the BJP. “BJP did not do any development in Purvanchal and is presenting the wrong development model,” he said
