This year’s Diwali has given the people of India new hopes. As the country continues to recover from the devastating second wave of the Covid pandemic, new vaccines and fewer cases have stepped up India’s fight against the disease. India’s economy, which has also shrunk by 7.3 percent due to the Covid-19 pandemic, appears to be with one Growth forecast of 9.5 percent in 2021as business people across the country hope for a healthy Christmas season.

However, the festive mood seems to have caused people to drop their guards and crowds have been observed in many parts of the country in front of Diwali and Durga Puja / Navratri.
India reported 12,885 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday November 4th – an 8.3% increase from the previous day – and 461 deaths from the viral infection in the last 24 hours.

Another great success on the vaccination front came on the eve of Diwali when the World Health Organization approves Covaxin. from Bharat Biotech for emergency use. The head of the Indian Covid Task Force VK Paul called it “Diwali gift‘.

India made another feat on Wednesday when Ayodhya set a new world record for lighting the maximum number of earthen lamps. About 9 lakh diyas lit the banks of the Saryu and set a Guinness world record.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the nation Diwali and wished prosperity for all. Modes visited the Nowshera Sector in Jammu & Kashmir’s Rajouri District Spending Diwali there with the soldiers of the Indian army. Since taking over the presidency of the Prime Minister in 2014, Modi has spent Diwali with soldiers at various border posts in the country.
