The SKM meeting to decide how farmers should proceed after the repeal of the three agricultural laws has been postponed to November 27th. In the meantime, their planned programs are being carried out on schedule.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella organization of farmers’ unions that led the protest against the centre’s three agricultural laws, became planned to hold an important meeting on the Singhu border on Sunday to decide what to do next. This comes after PM Modi announced on Friday that the Center has decided that Laws.
However, the meeting has now been postponed to 11 a.m. on November 27 after it became known that the Union cabinet is likely to approve the resolution to repeal the law on Wednesday.
The farmers have decided to wait with a formal announcement as to how they will proceed and whether they will formally end their protest.

On Saturday, Darshan Pal, a member of the SKM core committee, said that the farmers’ groups would have to discuss the MSP issue and the daily tractor march to parliament during the winter session they had planned at their meeting.
Farmers have stated that while their request to repeal the three laws has been accepted, their other request for a Minimum Support Price (MSP) law has not yet been implemented.
PROGRAMS TO CONTINUE
The farmer programs will now continue according to the original plan until their meeting on November 27th. The Mahapanchayat to be held in Lucknow on November 22nd has not been canceled.
Farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal said: “The programs decided by SKM will stay as they are. Mahapanchayat on November 22nd, large gatherings at all borders on November 26th and the Parliament’s tractor rally on November 29th. The 29th rally will take place at the November 27th meeting. “
He added: “We will write an open letter to the Prime Minister on the farmers’ remaining demands.”
