Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming crime drama Dangerous was India’s first film to be sold as an NFT (non-fungible token) on blockchain. WHAT ARE NFTs?
An NFT is a non-fungible token that is a unique pure digital asset. They can be bought and sold on an online exchange. Celebrities around the world have their own line of NFTs. In Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sunny Leone and more have turned to the trend.
NFTs mean Unique Ownership and because they are “fungible” they cannot be replaced or interchanged with anything else in the world. This proves their unique worth. Most NFTs are bought through cryptocurrencies.
