T20 World Cup 2021 Semifinals lineup: Pakistan set up Australia match-up, England to face New Zealand

The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 has finally found its four semi-finalists in Pakistan, New Zealand, England and Australia from 12 teams in the main draw in the United Arab Emirates.

England will face New Zealand in the first semi-final in Abu Dhabi on November 10, while Pakistan will face Australia in the second semi-final in Dubai on November 11.

Pakistan was the only team in the tournament to win all 5 Super 12 games on Sunday, while England led Group 1 with 4 wins out of 5 games.

Pakistan beat India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia to be the first team to reach the bottom four. England, meanwhile, lost to South Africa but still managed to lead Group 1.

Pakistan beat Scotland in their final Super 12 game on Sunday to complete the knockout line-up.

Azam chose to hit first after winning the throw and led over the ropes with a 47-ball 66 that contained five boundaries and three sixes before Malik hit the Scots over the ropes with an 18-ball 54 with six hits brought to the sword.

Mohammad Hafeez joined the party with a 19-ball 31 to hit a commanding 189-4 in their 20 overs, with 114 coming from the last eight.
