Union minister Narayan Rane says Maharashtra government will change by March

Narayan Rane, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, said Thursday that a “change” is coming very soon in Maharashtra.

During a two-day visit to Rajasthan, he reportedly said, “A change will be seen in Maharashtra very soon. The change will be visible by March. In order to form a government or to break a government, some things must be kept secret.”

He was quoted by the ANI news agency as saying, “Uddhav Thackeray is not doing well, so our party president Chandrakant Patil told us not to talk about him now. But the tripartite Maha Vikas Aghadi government will not survive long in Maharashtra. “

Two weeks ago, The Prime Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, had a successful cervical spine surgery at the HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai.

A former member of Congress and Shiv Sena, Narayan Rane, has therefore suggested that an attempt is underway to “break the government” and install the leadership of the BJP in the state.

VAT vs. BJP

The Maha Vikas Aghadi ruling government in Maharashtra is led by the Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party.

Previously, the BJP and Shiv Sena were allies and ruled the state from 2014 to 2019. When they were re-elected in 2019, differences over who should become prime minister and other such issues created a split between the two parties. The Shiv Sena then joined the NCP and Congress.

The BJP is now the largest opposition party in Maharashtra, with Devendra Fadnavis as opposition leader.
