‘Wickets falling’: TMC leader Babul Supriyo claims 5 Bengal MLAs may quit BJP

Trinamool Congress chairman Babul Supriyo attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, claiming five other leaders could quit the Saffron Party in West Bengal.

Babul Supriyo, the at TMC for three months, tweeted (in Bengali): “In the BJP one wicket after the other falls. Five more are gone today. Shiv Babu (National Secretary General Shiv Prakash, who oversaw the BJP campaign prior to the assembly elections) must have gone to Mount Kailash (euphuism for retirement) by now. If you want to find Bengali crabs pulling you from behind, go to Muralidhar Lane (the address of the state BJP). “

The five MLAs in West Bengal – Mukutmoni Adhikari (Ranaghat South), Subrata Thakur (Gaighata), Ambica Roy (Kalyani), Asok Kirtania (Bongaon North) and Asim Sarkar (Haringhata) – had allegedly left the WhatsApp group angrily because they had been excluded became various committees formed on Saturday by the BJP national party unit.

However, Ambica Roy later expressed his desire to rejoin the WhatsApp group, stating that he had made a mistake and wanted to “remain a loyal BJP soldier”.

It is noteworthy that the five MLAs come from the Matua community, which makes up a large portion of the state’s registered caste population.

Meanwhile, BJP President Sukanta Majumdar said: “None of the five MLAs will be left out. We will put them on new committees. You have to be a little patient.”

MAMATA BALA THAKUR ASK SUBRATA THAKUR to join TMC

Trinamul Congress Chair Mamata Bala Thakur, who is also affiliated with All India Matua Mahasangha (AIMM), urged Subrata Thakur, who is one of the five MLAs that have allegedly left the WhatsApp group, to attend the Trinamool Congress to join.

At the BJP, the Matua community leader said, “The BJP has not done anything for the Matuas to this day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself traveled to Thakurnagar in the North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal, but there was no development for the community. All matuas will admit it. Only Mamata Banerjee worked for the Matuas. The Matuas have been misunderstood by the BJP and they have realized it. That’s why they want to return to the TMC now. They want to be involved in the development of TMC boss Mamata Banerjee. “
