PM Modi has sent 100 pairs of jute shoes for Kashi Vishwanath Dham employees.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent 100 pairs of jute shoes for Kashi Vishwanath Dham workers in his Lok Sabha constituency in Varanasi.
According to government sources, during his Visit to Varanasi for the inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, PM Modi learned that most of the people who worked in the temple did their duties barefoot.
This is because it is forbidden to wear leather or rubber shoes on the temple grounds. No one is exempt from this decree including priests, people performing seva, security officers, plumbing workers, and others.
The Prime Minister immediately got 100 pairs of jute shoes and sent them to Kashi Vishwanath Dham so that those on duty would not have to go barefoot in the cold.

“Needless to say, the people who worked at Kashi Vishwanath Dham were very pleased. This is yet another example of the prime minister’s attention to detail and concern for the poor, ”the source said.
During his two-day visit to Varanasi last month, the Prime Minister had showered petals on workers who built the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and later had lunch with them.
