Actor Dileep, his brother, brother-in-law, driver and a friend appeared before Criminal Investigation officers and were interrogated for over 11 hours in the actor’s assault case. Meanwhile, director Rafi was called to identify voice clips from footage handed over by director Balachandrakumar.
Rafi was involved in the film proposed by director Balachandrakumar and Dileep. The interrogation of actor Dileep and others ended for the second day at the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
A case was filed against her for allegedly threatening officers for sexually assaulting an actress in 2017. The actor, his brother, his brother-in-law, his driver and a friend appeared before police officers at 9 a.m. and were interrogated for over 11 hours.

The manager and two other employees of Grand Productions, owned by Dileep, were also subpoenaed and their statements were recorded. Crime Branch sources said there were inconsistencies in the statements made by the accused.
The crime branch registered the case on Jan. 9 following a complaint from an investigating officer based on an alleged audio clip of Dileep released by a TV station where the actor had allegedly overheard a plot to attack the officer.

The Supreme Court, while granting Dileep temporary protection from arrest while he reviewed the bail application, ordered him and other defendants to appear before investigators. The interrogation of the defendant is being taped because the criminal department suspects the actor and others may go to court to allege harassment during interrogation.
The actor and five others were charged under various provisions of the IPC, including sections 116 (incitement), 118 (concealment of intent to commit a crime), 120B (criminal conspiracy), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (criminal act, committed by several). People).
The court had ordered prosecutors to produce a report of the interrogation and the physical evidence gathered in a sealed envelope on January 27 if the matter was to be heard again.
