“Cases are increasing rapidly and there are no two options. We all know that the Omicron variant is quite transmissible and contagious.

“As a result, there is no need for people to worry or panic. From the point of view of Government of Delhi, everything is OK. There is no shortage of hospital beds. There are also many intensive care beds available. We don’t need to panic, but we need to act responsibly. We are keeping an eye on the coronavirus situation,” the Prime Minister told reporters in Rajghat.

Delhi now has 27,531 safe zones, according to the latest Covid-19 bulletin from the Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, up to 1,18,36,004 beneficiaries in Delhi have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
