Four girls buried to death in landslide in Haryana village


Four girls were buried to death in the village of Kangarka, Haryana, after a large chunk of earth fell on them.

Up to four girls were buried to death in a landslide in the village of Kangarka in Haryana on Monday evening. The girls had gone there to dig some mud for their houses when tragedy struck.

A large chunk of earth collapsed on top of them and all four were reported dead. The villagers picked up the bodies of the victims.

Police officers reached the site to investigate the cause of the incident and further investigations are underway. The police identified Vakeela (19), Janista (18), Taslima (10) and Gulafsha (9) as victims.

Another girl, Sofia, was rescued and is currently receiving treatment.
