Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife, Reham Khan, has claimed she was attacked by strangers who opened fire on the vehicle she was traveling in on Sunday evening.
Reham Khan attacked her ex-husband for the attack, saying that Pakistan had become a land of “cowards, thugs and greedy” under Imran Khan’s rule.
“On the way back from my nephew’s marriage, my car was shot at and two men on a motorcycle were holding the vehicle at gunpoint! I had just changed vehicles. My horsepower and my driver were in the car. Is this Imran Khan’s new Pakistan? Welcome to the state of cowards, thugs and greedy! ”She tweeted.

Although she was unharmed, Reham Khan said the incident made her “indignant and concerned”. She also noted that she would have preferred a duel to a “cowardly covert attempt”.
Reham Khan, a journalist of British-Pakistani origin and former TV presenter, was married to Imran Khan from 2014 to October 30, 2015. The 48-year-old is known as a vocal critic of her former husband and often criticizes him for his style of government and his statements in public.
After the Pulwama attack in 2019, Reham Khan said: Imran Khan was a puppet of the country’s military and had come to power by compromising ideology and moderate politics.
