India recorded 2,71,202 new Covid-19 cases and 314 deaths in the last 24 hours. The Omicron case list was also up 28.17% since yesterday.

India reported 2,71,202 new Covid-19 cases and 314 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health as of 8am Sunday. A total of 7,743 omicron cases have been detected so far, up 28.17 percent since Saturday.
At least 1,38,331 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recovery to 3,50,85,721. The recycling rate is now 94.51 percent.
India’s active case count currently stands at 15,50,377.
The daily positivity rate is 16.28 percent while the weekly positivity rate is 13.69 percent.
At least 16,65,404 Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours.
So far, 156.76 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
