After the center alleged a “security breach” during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab on Wednesday, Punjab government spokesman Dr. Raj Kumar Verka: “The security breach allegations are unfounded.”

“The rally failed because the BJP leaders failed to attract crowds,” said Dr. Raj Kumar Verka.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi canceled his events in Punjab today after being stuck on an overpass for around 20 minutes over protesters – a security breach that led to a conflict between the center and the Punjab congressional government ahead of February’s state elections.

PM Modi returned to Bathinda Airport for the violation, the Union’s Interior Ministry said in a statement, accusing the Punjab congressional government for failing to prepare for the visit.

“The Prime Minister was stuck on an overpass for 15 to 20 minutes. This was a big mistake in the prime minister’s security, “said the Union’s Interior Ministry.

Government circles accused the Punjab police of “breastfeeding” with so-called demonstrators.

Meanwhile, Punjab Prime Minister Charanjit Singh Channi denied a security breach, saying the prime minister’s plan to travel by road was made at the last minute.
