Samajwadi leader Akhilesh Yadav said he was not allowed to fly to Muzzafarnagar because his helicopter was prevented from taking off in Delhi. He claimed the “desperate” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conspiracy was behind the incident.
Akhilesh posted an image on Twitter and said: “My helicopter has been stopped in Delhi and is not allowed to fly to Muzaffarnagar. No reason was given for this…while a senior BJP leader has just flown from here,” said Akhilesh Yadav.
“This is a desperate conspiracy by the defeated BJP. People understand everything…” Akhilesh Yadav said in his tweet.

Akhilesh Yadav came as that General elections in Uttar Pradesh are around the corner. Akhilesh Yadav will contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections from Karhal constituency in Mainpuri district. The vote in Karhal is scheduled for February 20th.
