Police in Maharashtra’s Thane district intercepted a vehicle carrying 1,000 gelatin sticks and the same number of detonators late Tuesday night. Three people were arrested by the police.
According to police, a Maruti Eco car was intercepted in the Nadi Naka area under Nizampura Police Station in Bhiwandi.
Police are investigating where the explosives and detonator were taken.
Three people named Alpesh Patil, Pankaj Chavan and Sameer Vedga were arrested by the police. You will be questioned.
Further investigations are ongoing.
On February 25 last year, gelatin sticks were found in a car outside the home of businessman Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai.
