On Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s helicopter was not permitted to take off from Chandigarh’s Rajendra Park as a ‘no-fly zone’ had been imposed due to the movement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
CM Channi of the Congress was supposed to fly to Punjab’s Hoshiarpur to attend Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s poll rally.
Rahul Gandhi’s chopper has been allowed to land in Hoshiarpur.
Punjab will vote on February 20 and the votes will be counted on March 10.
