10 injured in grenade attack at Amira Kadal in Srinagar


The injured people were immediately rushed to a hospital. Their condition is stable, said a police officer.

Ten people were injured on Sunday in a grenade attack on security forces, allegedly by militants, in the Amira Kadal Lalchowk area, Srinagar.

A police officer told India today that militants attacked a joint team of police and security forces with a grenade. The injured people were rushed to a hospital. Their condition is said to be stable, the officer added.

Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to arrest the attackers.
