How Covid-19 Cases Across India Are Rising Rapidly, Sources in the Union Ministry of Railways have made it clear that passenger trains will continue to run normally.
There is no need for anyone to panic or speculate, the ministry said on Twitter. People can book their tickets and travel to their destinations conveniently and safely.
Social distancing norms are followed. The Ministry of Railways has asked citizens not to come to the train stations unless they have confirmed RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) tickets.
Indian Railways runs its passenger trains normally. Taking into account the pandemic situation, passengers are asked to avoid any panic / speculation and only come to the station if they have confirmed the RAC ticket. All social distancing norms must be observed. #Indiafightscorona

In the meantime, several state governments have imposed Covid-related restrictions and restrictions to contain the spread of the virus.
