Security beefed up at Mantralaya in Mumbai after bomb threat


The Bomb Detection and Disposal Command reached Mumbai’s Mantralaya after receiving a call about the bomb danger in the area.

Mumbai Police and BDDS (Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad) teams reached Mantralaya after receiving a call regarding the bomb placed in Mantralaya.

The Mantralaya Civil Protection Agency received an anonymous call at 12:40 p.m. informing them of a bomb threat in the Mantralaya building in Mumbai.

The bomb squadrons have reached the Maharashtra Legislature Secretariat and are checking the area for possible threats.

According to Mumbai Police, the call appears to be a joke at first glance. They added that more inquiries are currently ongoing.
