NASA, one of the leading US space agencies, recently shared a collage of its interns on Twitter to remind applicants to apply for an internship with the space agency this fall. To demonstrate the diversity, they added a picture of an Indian-American girl who can be seen around her laptop with the idols of the goddess Laxmi and Saraswati. As soon as internet users came across the picture, some were shocked while others applauded NASA for giving women more power.
NASA INTERN CONDUCTS THAT THEY HAVE POSITIONED WITH HINDU GODS ON A PICTURE
On July 10, NASA posted a reminder on Twitter for applicants applying for an internship with the prestigious space agency as the deadline approaches. In the post, the space agency shared a collage of their interns along with the memory. One of the pictures of an Indian-American woman posing on her laptop table with the goddess Laxmi and the idols of Saraswati caught the attention of internet users. While some couldn’t believe that a scientist in the making would believe in religion, others applauded the space agency for giving women more power.
This is what Twitter has to say:
NASA is that a joke ??? https://t.co/pmYAJYddzp

For all the Hindu hobics out there making fun of this Hindu woman. This is my work station and like this you can find every Hindu in almost every Indian and you know our numbers. We’re everywhere, doing just about any job you can’t. pic.twitter.com/EvUB1ppAbM

I am Hindu. I do not believe in god. But I respect my religion and its teachings. And I always support people who praise whoever they want. I never try to change your mind. Please refrain from trolling people based on their religious beliefs. JAI SHREE RAM 1/2

Image 4: Hindus have the ability to be very instrumental. So, if it suits them, they can act in a very modern way. And when it suits them, they can fall back on their tradition, their caste, and so on. You can hold both masks together seamlessly. Definition of modern Hindu.

Ridiculous that people should have a problem with a Hindu intern being their Hindu self! Hinduism is the most scientific way of life. Historically, Hindus were never flat-earth people, we knew about planets before other religions were born.

The debate between science and religion is as old as time and has never ended. NASA internships are organized in three sessions per calendar year, which includes spring, fall and summer. The American space agency is known for giving opportunities to future scientists, engineers and other professionals.
